Pataässä. Tunnus, josta rykmentti sai nimensä.

Ässärykmentti koottiin Helsingistä, Sörnäisten ja Kallion kaupunginosista. Talvisodassa Jalkaväkirykmentti 11, Kannaksella. Jatkosodassa Jalkaväkirykmentti 26.

Sörkan rykmentti. Työläiskaupunginosien miehistä koottu, omalla tunnuksella ja omalla ylpeydellä.
