Background

Jatkosodassa Päämajan alaiset kaukopartio-osastot veivät pienet partiot syvälle vihollisen selustaan. Vuonna 1943 osastot koottiin yhteen: Erillinen Pataljoona 4.

Matka kesti viikkoja. Suksilla tai jalan, kaikki tarvittava selässä. Radiohiljaisuus, kunnes oli jotain kerrottavaa.

Tehtävä oli tieto. Rautatiet, kolonnat, joukkojen keskitykset. Havainto vietiin perille, koska sillä oli merkitystä.

Kaikki eivät palanneet. Printti kantaa heidän muistoaan.
